The inspiration for this whisky comes from Machrie Moor, a mysterious peat bog on the west coast of the Isle of Arran, where ancient stone circles and standing stones adorn the rugged, undulating landscape. One of these circles is called Fingal's Cauldron Seat, where legend has it that the giant Fingal tied his beloved dog Bran to a stone. This whisky honours this legend and the rugged landscape of Machrie Moor.
