Hendrick's Gin - Fever Tree Tonic - Voatsiperifery Pepper - Cucumber - Rosemary
Gin Tonic is one of my favorite cocktails, and it has been since my student days. Back then, it was just a 'Gin Gini' :-)
For this Gin Tonic recipe, I've chosen one of my favorite gins, namely Hendrick's gin (5 to 7cl, according to taste). I've combined it with Fever Tree Tonic (20cl, the yellow one), and added two small pieces of cucumber, a small sprig of fresh rosemary (lightly crush the leaves to release the aromas), and then - the top of the bill - a few grains of Voatsiperifery pepper. This pepper is a wild pepper, extremely aromatic. The Voatsiperifery pepper adds a delicious woody flavor, especially combined with citrus and rose notes. Perfect for this Hendrick's gin :-)
