Oriental stuffed chicken with couscous

Make your own top meal thanks to this delicious chicken and couscous recipe.

Today I want to share with you an original recipe from one of my suppliers of Herbs and Spices: stuffed chicken with a Tajine couscous mixture. A delicious oriental dish.


This is what you need (for 4 to 6 people) :

A nice 1.5 kg chicken
2 onions
One goblet of Tajine with 5 spices ‘ Illico Presto
Olive oil and salt

Preparation:

1. Mix the contents of the jug of ‘ Illico Presto ’ with 500 ml of water a tablespoon of olive oil. Leave to swell for 5 minutes.
2. Fill the chicken with the mixture and close the opening.
3. Fry the stuffed chicken on all sides in a simmering pan and add the sliced onion.
4. Add water until the chicken is half covered. Season with salt to taste.
5. Bring to the boil and simmer gently for an hour and a half.
6. Remove the chicken from the pan, divide into portions and serve along with the stuffing.
