This whiskey is part of the Original Collection from Cadenhead & Co, Scotland's oldest independent bottler since 1842. Cadenhead's distillery is known for its artisanal approach and passion for perfecting whisky.

This 10 year old Bunnahabhain was distilled in 2013 and bottled in May 2024. The whiskey has matured in bourbon barrels and is characterized by an abundance of smoke with notes of crispy smoked bacon, cullen skink soup and sea salt.

The imposing and impressive Bunnahabhain Distillery, located in the northeast of Islay, was founded in 1881. The remote location required the construction of houses, a road and a pier for workers and logistics. Investments have recently been made in the distillery, including a visitor centre.

Tasting notes:
- On the nose: Crispy smoked bacon, sea salt, savory peat
- On the palate: Big smoke, cullen skink soup, fresh mint leaves
- Finish: Creamy sweetness, smoked tofu, lingering coastal notes
