A wine with a good price-quality ratio from Chardonnay & Arinto grapes. After harvest, the grapes are destemmed and pressed with a pneumatic press. After fermentation, part of the wine matures further in oak, the rest in stainless steel. The wine is bottled in the spring following harvest.
Characteristics:
Aroma: bright straw yellow white wine with aromas of citrus and ripe fruit, combined with suggestive notes of vanilla and subtle spicy and smoked nuances.
Mouth: lots of fruit and volume but also surprisingly fresh acidity, provided by the approx. 10% arinto in the blend. The wood is very subtle.
Aftertaste: relatively dry wine with a slightly above-average persistent aftertaste

Casal da Coelheira is Portuguese for 'Rabbit hut' and is located on the banks of the Tagus (Tejo), an hour northeast of Lisbon. Food pairing This beautiful white wine is ideal as an aperitif with fish and light dishes with white meat.
