Near Epernay, located on the slopes of the Montagne de Reims and very close to the Marne Valley, in Avenay-Val-d'Or is the Crucifix Père et Fils champagne house, part of a traditional wine-growing family for more than 5 generations .
The vineyard is located on the terroir of Avenay-Val-d'Or, classified as Premier Cru of the Champagne region. The plots consist of the two noble grape varieties of Champagne, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
Characteristics:
- On the nose: a surprising bouquet of aromas, which combines white blossom with notes of white fruit (pêche de vigne).
- On the palate: a dense expression of ripe, dried fruit with a discreet freshness.
- Aftertaste: very long
