This fantastic black tea comes from the tropical rainforest near the Andes mountains and grows on the border with Ecuador in beautiful Colombia.
The tea grows at high altitudes of 1800 to 2000 metres and owes its incredibly broad flavor palette to the strong temperature changes in the mountains. The bushes of the tea plant grow here in the pristine nature of the rainforest on a young cultivation area. The tea is picked in early spring and has a full, sweet flavor reminiscent of sultanas and slightly fruity with a honey-sweet aroma. The colour of the tea is dark and amber.
