Experience the opulence of Dalmore Luminary No. 2 2024 Edition, an exclusive addition to the Luminary Series, a 3-year series of limited collector's edition single malts celebrating exceptional talent from the world of design and whisky in collaboration with the prestigious design institute V&A Dundee.
Created by architect and designer Melodie Leung and Dalmore Master Whiskey Maker Gregg Glass in collaboration with Master Distiller Richard Paterson OBE. This whisky and its design represent the fusion of creativity and technical expertise - a form that inspires taste, and the form that inspires taste.
Leung's beautiful packaging design is inspired by her whisky discovery conversations with Glass about taste and aroma and how different elements can come together to create something new.
Glass' work on the whisky itself was inspired by their conversations about travel and global cuisine. The whisky is made even more special by the subtle addition of exceptionally rare peated Dalmore, identified during Leung and Glass' exploration of the distillery's No. 3 warehouse. This gives the spirit a unique smoky note, an atypical characteristic for a Dalmore whisky.
The single malt matured in ex-bourbon barrels made of American white oak and is refined in Graham's Tawny Port pipes and 30-year-old Apostoles Sherry casks with a light touch of exceptionally rare peated Dalmore.
