Ginetical The Wooded Edition is a wood-aged gin. The Royal Edition was used as a basis. The alcohol percentage was increased to 43% Vol and a few minor changes were made to the composition of the botanicals. Gale (Myrica gale) also plays a very important role in The Wooded Edition. This aromatically scented shrub occurs naturally in “Bosland” (Lommel and Hechtel region – Limburg, Belgium).

The color is deep amber. In the nose you discover a soft caramel touch, supported by a spicy spiciness of pepper and pine. A touch of honey finishes it off nicely. Mouth filling, tingling, playful, spicy but very soft and round with a warming alcohol. The aftertaste lingers for a long time and makes you long for the next sip.

Drink this complex gin neat, at room temperature. Also be surprised by making a cocktail with a neutral dry tonic. Do not use too much ice, this will bring out the aroma much better.
