A puzzling recipe: what is Tartatouille?

It's actually a Ratatouille, but for dipping and spreading! You can eat it hot or cold with rice or pasta, grilled meat. But also on small pieces of toast or with raw vegetables as an aperitif. We also like to add a few spoonfuls to an omelet, or as the base of a savory pie or pizza. With the sunny flavors of a Provencal vegetable garden, it is sure to be a success!
