This Rose Harissa has a slow-burning chilli heat, balanced with sweet smokiness that adds a real depth of flavor to any dish. It is one of the signature ingredients and bestsellers of the Belazu range, which was developed in 1995 from a secret recipe.
The name Harissa comes from the Arabic harasa, which means 'to crush' or 'to cut into pieces break' means. It is not far from a pure translation of the Italian pestare, which is where we get the word 'pesto'.
Use rose harissa:
