Description

The Passimento wines “Roméo & Juliet” are a tribute from the Pasqua family to Verona, the city they see as the city of love. Not only because of its history and many monuments, but certainly also because of its connection with wine.

A blend of Corvina and Croatina with a percentage of Merlot that becomes even softer during the drying period. The hand-picked grapes are dried in wooden boxes in the Fruttaio, where, thanks to humidity control and air recirculation, the berries lose about 30% of their water content and reach a high concentration of sugars. Because the grapes have different ripening times, vinification takes place separately in steel fermenters, only then is the blend created. PassioneSentimento matures for 3 months in oak barrels.

Characteristics

A beautiful deep ruby red color, intense and persistent nose with clear notes of red fruit and hints of spices. In the mouth it is balanced, round, soft and enveloping on the palate, with velvety tannins.

Food pairing

Excellent with red meat, game and aged cheeses. Serve at 18 ° C.
