HMS Royal Oak was in the vanguard of ships to engage the French in the famous Battle of the Saints. The Royal Oak, commanded by Thomas Burnett, maneuvered expertly and brought all her 74 guns to bear on the enemy for the duration of the battle. With 8 killed and 20 wounded, the Royal Oak played an integral role in the early skirmishes of the battle and encouraged the creation of a rum of rarity, intensity and daring.

Intense mouthfeel of sweet sultana raisins, tobacco and chocolate, with vanilla coming from the oak. Complex aftertaste with sweet fruit, caramel and spices.
