Ruinart Champagne Brut is made from 40% Chardonnay and 60% Pinot Noir. The champagne gets its consistency by adding 15% from reserve wines of up to 7 years old and has matured for at least 3 years in the beautiful cellars of champagne house Ruinart. The wine is elegant with floral notes in the foreground and hints of white peach and acacia on the palate. An excellent aperitif wine. This champagne is a wonderful introduction to the delights of one of the oldest Champagne Houses. Wijnhuis Nicolas Ruinart was an ambitious entrepreneur and thus realized the dream of his uncle, the Benedictine Dom Thierry Ruinart. The fact that Ruinart is a unique champagne house is evident from the ripening time and the classification of the grapes used. For example, Ruinart only uses the best Chardonnay grapes from the best wine-growing municipalities of the Montagne de Reims and the Côte de Blancs. He matures this champagne for no less than 36 months in the cellars of the champagne house.
