After the careful harvest of the hand-picked Palomino Fino grapes, they are taken to the wine cellar of Gonzalez Byass. There the berries are gently pressed. The sherry is fermented at low temperatures and then placed in the top row of barrels of the Leonor Solera. This sherry matures for approximately 12 years in American oak Solera barrels before this wine is bottled.
Characteristics:
Aroma: intense aromas of walnuts and hazelnuts with hints of the finest oak and bitter orange.
Mouth: dry and a velvety texture.
Aftertaste: long, aromatic final with a nutty touch.
Serving tip:
You can serve this sherry with a piece of cheese or with a pot of stew.
