The vineyards for the Meursault of Maison Louis Jadot are located at an altitude of between 230 and 360 meters above the sea, to capture as much sunlight as possible. Here, from the limestone soil mixed with marl, beautiful chardonnay grapes come that are fermented in wood and then mature in oak barrels for fifteen months. The maturation potential is between 8 and 15 years.

Wine company story:

Several generations of the Jadot family have owned the company since 1826 led. After the death of the last generation, the company was sold to the three Kopf sisters, the daughters of the American importer of Jadot wines. From that time on, all profits were invested in the wine company. The result? She grew quickly with the purchase of many high-quality vineyards in Burgundy and Beaujolais. The total Jadot range includes around 150 wines from Chablis, Côte d'Or, Côte Chalonnaise, Maconnais and Beaujolais, all with the recognizable yellow Jadot label with the sculpted face of Bacchus.
