Project XX is a single malt whiskey from Glenfiddich. 20 of Glenfiddich's best people have each selected a barrel in which they want to mature a whisky. In total, the selection consisted of 1 port barrel, 17 bourbon barrels and 2 sherry barrels. Due to the merging process, flavors such as cinnamon, licorice and almonds can also be tasted. The whole gives a dark golden color with a fruity character with notes of apple, summer fruit and ripe pears.
