VSOP cognac stands for Very Superior Old Pale, which means that the cognac has matured for at least 4.5 years. The Cognac is different from the regular VSOP cognacs, the camus is much more floral and has a somewhat sweet taste. The taste of oak comes through later, together with a somewhat peppery taste, this actually gives the camus a sweet floral taste.
