Woodford Reserve, founded in 1812, is a well-known American whiskey brand that has a long history of producing high-quality whiskeys. To create the distinctive taste of Woodford Reserve, a blend of corn, rye and barley is carefully selected. After distilling, the whiskey is matured in new, charred American oak barrels, which contributes to the rich and complex taste of the whisky.

In the production process, the distillery remains faithful to traditional methods, such as the use of copper stills and hand-selecting the barrels for whiskey maturation.

In 1812, the art of making fine bourbon first took place on the grounds of the Woodford Reserve Distillery. Woodford's Straight Bourbon Whiskey has a perfectly balanced taste consisting of more than 200 discernible flavor notes, ranging from powerful grain and wood flavors to sweet aromas, spices and notes of fruit and flowers.

Characteristics:
- On the nose: heavy with rich dried fruit, hints of mint and oranges covered with a layer of cocoa. Bland vanilla and tobacco spices.
- On the palate: rich, chewy, round and soft, with complex citrus, cinnamon and cocoa. Toffee, caramel, chocolate and spices in abundance.
- Finish: silky soft, almost creamy in the beginning with a long, warm aftertaste.
