Woodford Reserve, which has been around since 1812, is a famous American whiskey brand known for its high quality. The distinctive taste of Woodford Reserve is achieved through careful selection of corn, rye and barley and maturing the whiskey in new, charred American oak barrels. These casks contribute to the rich and complex flavor of the whisky.

The Woodford Reserve distillery continues to adhere to traditional methods in the production process, such as using copper stills and hand-selecting the casks for the maturation of the whisky.

Woodford Reserve Rye uses a 53% rye ratio in the mash bill to pay tribute to history's original rye whiskies. This high percentage of rye allows spicy and tobacco flavors to dominate, while fruity, floral and sweet aromas add a nice sweetness and overall balance.
