Since 1812, Woodford Reserve has been a renowned American whiskey brand with distinctive quality. The characteristic taste of Woodford Reserve is created by the careful selection of corn, rye and barley and the maturing of the whiskey in new, charred American oak barrels. These casks contribute to the rich and complex flavor of the whisky.

The Woodford Reserve distillery remains faithful to traditional methods during the production process. For example, copper stills are used and the barrels for maturing the whiskey are selected manually.

Woodford Reserve Straight Wheat is based on historic recipes, but influenced by the iconic Woodford Reserve Bourbon brand. The whiskey contains wheat as the main grain (52%), followed by malt (20%), corn (20%) and rye (8%). This gives this Straight Wheat whiskey fruity and floral flavors.

Characteristics:
- In the nose: mix of aromatic herbs such as cinnamon and cedar, mingles with the flavors of cooked fruits, such as apple, pear and banana. This delicate combination is complemented by a floral character and a hint of sweet vanilla and brown sugar.
- On the palate: spicy applesauce and roasted coconut add a lively touch to the earthy taste of mint and cocoa.
- Finish: dry, subtle cocoa and persistent apple peel.
