Located off the west coast of Scotland, Islay has been shaped for thousands of years by the powerful Atlantic Ocean, bringing with it ferocious storms, currents and hidden rocks. But these turbulent moments are also followed by calm days with white sandy beaches and lochs filled with peaty spring water.

What makes Islay malts so special is their robust, smoky and peaty taste with hints of the sea and spicy sweetness.

Characteristics:
- In the nose: sharp peat smoke. Ripe tannin with a hint of sea breeze.
- In the mouth: wonderfully sweet peaty. Some iodine and sea salt balance with vanilla notes and some spices.
- Finish: waves of smoke.
