Woodford Reserve is not a typical 100% malt whisky. It is a Kentucky Straight Malt Whiskey made from 51% malt and matured in new charred oak barrels. This makes it the perfect malt whiskey for bourbon lovers. The 51% malt base gives this whiskey a rich and complex taste and enhances the nutty characteristics of the original Woodford Reserve.

Features:
- In the nose: a fruity character (with notes of apple, dried fruit and tropical fruit) is enveloped by soft nutty flavors, light caramel and milk chocolate. In addition, hints of brown spices, savory mint and brown sugar mingle with a rich note of freshly ground toasted oak.
- On the palate: a mix of dark chocolate and caramel with notes of cocoa powder and brown spices. The whole is freshened up by a fruity flavor combination and a hint of roasted coconut. The taste is rounded off with a rich and bright oak character.
- Aftertaste: nutty and subtly sweet notes of chocolate malt.
