This fifth reference in the Tomatin Cù Bòcan Creation is matured in an extremely rare Andean oak barrel. Using lightly pickled Scottish barley and the refined taste of subtle smoke, this whiskey has a harmonious combination of lightly charred oak and deep notes of exotic floral herbs and banana split.
Every winter, this exclusive whiskey is produced in small quantities of distilled, creating a subtly smoky and surprisingly sweet spirit that stands out from all others. Maturation in different barrels unlocks unusual flavors, creating an aromatic balance and a silky richness.
Tomatin Cù Bòcan's master blenders selected the Colombian Andean oak barrel to mature this whiskey to perfection. The properties of the Andean oak and the character of the whiskey have resulted in notes of camphor, roasted cloves and eucalyptus.
