Discover the world-famous Coppa Mojito, a classic and exotic cocktail with the refreshing taste of fresh mint and Caribbean rum, with cane sugar and lime juice. The name Mojito comes from the African word "mojo", which stands for 'casting a small magic spell'. Although Mojitos are originally Cuban, the history of this cocktail can be traced back to the 1580s, aboard Francis Drake's pirate ship.

The story goes that the ship's doctor gave the crew a cocktail with aguardiente, sugar, gave lime and mint as medicine. The Mojito was born around 1800, when the popularity of rum grew and aguardiente was eventually replaced. The Mojito became world famous thanks to the American writer Ernest Hemingway, who drank the cocktail in both Havana and Key West. More recently, it was James Bond (aka Pierce Brosnan) who drank the Mojito in 'Die Another Day'.
