The heart of Sorgin Yellow Gin & Sauvignon is formed from carefully selected botanicals, including juniper berry, coriander seed, angelica root and licorice. These are macerated and distilled by hand in small batches, resulting in a gin of exceptional quality and complexity.

What makes this limited edition gin really special is the addition of fine sauvignon blanc. This world-class white wine adds an elegant and refined dimension to the flavor profile of the gin. The sauvignon blanc brings lively fruity notes of citrus, peach and exotic fruits, giving the gin a unique freshness and beautiful balance.

This special edition has undergone a maturation of 6 months in oak barrels from the Argentinian malbec red wine from the Chacayes terroir, produced by Bodega Piedra Negra. Bodega Piedra Negra, founded by Francois Lurton in 1998, is known for creating beautiful wines that harmoniously combine tradition and innovation at the foot of the Cordillera of the Andes.

The maturation in the malbec barrels ensures for a completely new taste profile, where fruity notes, tannins and wood accents are perfectly balanced. This results in a gin that is perfect in taste, with a unique character that is enriched by the influences of the Malbec wine barrels.
