Ardbeg An Oa whiskey is inspired by the sheltered Mull of Oa peninsula, which tempers the harsh weather conditions of the Ardbeg Distillery on Islay. This Ardbeg masterpiece pays tribute to the protective influence of this iconic landscape.

Ardbeg An Oa is remarkably rounded, thanks in part to its maturation in Ardbeg's Gathering Vat. Here, whiskeys are collected from different cask types, including sweet Pedro Ximenez, spicy Virgin charred oak casks and intense ex-bourbon casks. They unite to create a dram that combines the powerful smokiness of Ardbeg with a refined, silky sweetness.

Tasting notes:
- On the nose: Round and smoky, with hints of toffee, anise, treacle and dates, accompanied by subtle notes of peach and banana. With a drop of water, classic Ardbeg scents emerge such as lime, pine resin and tar, with a hint of smoky spice.
- On the palate: silky, creamy texture, followed by an explosion of sweet flavors such as milk chocolate, treacle toffee, orange and smoky tea leaves. Soft, sweet spices and a hint of cigar smoke are complemented by a unique flavor of grilled artichokes, while subtle wood notes add a nutty, artisanal background.
- Finish: long, seductive and intense, with notes of anise, hickory and subtle smoke that linger.
