At the foot of the Montagne Noir, in an amphitheater overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, lies the Saint Frichoux vineyard. This soil, once a salty sea, now forms the basis for the refined Marins d'eau douce Blanc. As the fifth generation of wine growers, they humbly and proudly bear the nickname of freshwater sailors ("Marins d'eau douce"), both literally and figuratively.
The vines grow on sandstone marl along the valleys of the Resclauze and Ruchol rivers, which flow into the former Marseillette pond. This pond, which dried up in the 19th century, provides a unique and fertile soil for our vineyard.
The Sauvignon grapes are harvested at night to preserve their freshness and pressed immediately. The fermentation takes place at low temperatures, which ensures a delicate and refined wine.
