The La Fila Filter Coffee Beans come from the small plantation "La Fila" in the Chirripó region, Costa Rica. These high-quality beans - of the Villalobos variety - are produced by Regulo Ureña and Isabel Rojas, who carefully control every step of production on their family business.
The Villalobos cultivar is a fascinating natural mutation of the Typica variety. The Black Honey processing method, in which part of the pulp remains on the bean and is covered during drying, is the most complex, labor-intensive and expensive way to produce green coffee. This results in a rich and tasty cup of coffee, unique in its kind.
These beans enchant from the first sip, with an elegant and juicy taste and a sweet depth. The La Fila Filter Coffee Beans offer refined notes of yellow raspberry, fresh fig and cocoa.
