Botran Ki' takes its name from the word "Ki", which means "sun" in the Mayan language K'iché, and reflects the warmth and soul of Guatemala. Five brothers, passionate about rum, left Spain to create a rum in Guatemala that would embody the country's heritage. Made from the highest quality virgin sugar cane honey, Botran Ki' stands out for its dynamic aging process in a customized solera system, which creates a unique harmony between young and old.

The rum is matured in specially selected barrels, including barrels that have contained Moscatel wine, which gives the rum its characteristic sweetness and roundness. All this is done without the addition of sugar, which preserves the authentic flavours and natural character of the rum. Botran Ki' has a soft, full taste with refined sweet notes and a complex aftertaste.
