Pinot x Riesling 2023 from Wijndomein Dappersveld is a beautiful local wine from Gooik (Woestijn), which perfectly represents the finesse of Belgian viticulture. This unique blend consists of 50% Pinot Gris, 25% Pinot Blanc and 25% Riesling, and combines the rich, fruity character of Pinot Gris with the soft floral notes of Pinot Blanc and the fresh acids of Riesling.

The vines grow on a mineral-rich sandy-loam soil, which contributes to the refreshing acidity and complex structure of the wine. The grapes are harvested by hand, which guarantees careful selection and optimum quality of the fruit.

What makes this wine really special is the spontaneous natural fermentation, followed by a complete fermentation on stainless steel (RVS). This allows the wine to retain its freshness and pure taste. The wine then matures on the lees for 6 months, which gives it extra body and a refined, creamy texture.

Wijndomein Dappersveld Pinot x Riesling 2023 is ideally suited to serve with light dishes such as grilled fish, fresh salads or soft cheeses.
