Established in 1820, Graham's is renowned for its luxurious and complex vintage ports. The 2003 Vintage Port Library Release is made from a blend of the highest quality grapes, selected from iconic estates such as Quinta dos Malvedos and other prestigious quintas owned by the Symington family. This Library Release is the second time the 2003 vintage has been released, with exclusive packaging and a clear cork date.
This Port wine is composed of a blend of Touriga Franca (39%), Touriga Nacional (28%), old vines (22%) and Tinta Barroca (11%), resulting in a deep, opulent flavour with wonderful balance and structure. Due to the extra maturation, this Port has developed an exceptional concentration and a refined, elegant finish.
Tasting notes:
- On the nose: Fresh aromas of mint, eucalyptus and cistus, with subtle hints of liquorice.
- On the palate: A rich palette of ripe red fruit, blackcurrants and kirsch, which fills the mouth with an intense fruity sweetness.
- Finish: Full and elegant, with considerable concentration that creates a long-lasting, refined impression.
Graham's 2003 Vintage Port Library Release is perfect for enjoying now or for further maturing. This special port captures the character and expertise of one of the oldest port houses and is a wonderful addition to any port collection.
