Founded in the 1970s by Francis Darroze, Maison Darroze is known for its dedication to producing authentic, high-quality Armagnacs. Located in Gascony, the Darroze family carefully selects eaux-de-vie from different terroirs, respecting the unique characteristics of each vineyard. This approach has resulted in an impressive collection of some of the most refined Armagnacs in the region.

The Darroze Armagnac Grands Assemblages 50 Ans is a blend that is the result of half a century of maturation in carefully selected oak barrels. After 50 years, the Armagnac reaches a point where further maturation in the barrel is no longer necessary. The barrels used, freed from excess tannins over the years, contribute to a harmonious development of the eaux-de-vie without excessive wood influence. This results in an Armagnac with deep notes of roasted nuts, dark chocolate and leather, characteristic of such old eaux-de-vie.

Tasting notes:
- On the nose: Intense aromas of roasted coffee beans, dark chocolate and subtle hints of tobacco and leather.
- On the palate: Full and complex, with layers of cocoa notes, candied fruit and a hint of vanilla.
- Finish: Long and luxurious, with lingering notes of toasted wood and spice.
