Benriach is an exceptional Speyside single malt Scotch whisky with a rich history, rooted in the heritage of founder John Duff. In 1898, he built the distillery on the historic Riach Farm in north Speyside. Here, mineral-rich water, drawn from deep beneath the distillery, plays a vital role in creating Benriach’s distinctive flavour.

With a long tradition of distilling three unique whisky styles—classic unpeated, Highland peated and triple distilled—and a diverse selection of casks from around the world, Benriach’s whisky makers explore the limitless potential of single malt, resulting in some of the richest and most complex whiskies to come from Speyside.

Benriach 12 Years is created by maturing Benriach spirit for a minimum of twelve years in a harmonious combination of sherry, bourbon and port casks. The whiskies from each cask are then carefully blended to create a silky smooth single malt. The result is a rich sherry flavour, with notes of baked fruit, maple honey and cocoa perfectly balanced by a long finish of sultanas and spiced mocha.
