Plantation Gran Añejo is a refined blend of aged rums from Guatemala and Belize, known for Plantation’s signature double maturation. After a first maturation in ex-bourbon casks, these exceptional rums travel to Southwest France, where they undergo a second maturation in ex-Ferrand cognac casks. This process reveals rich notes of plums, dried fruits and a subtle hint of oak.

Tasting notes:
- On the nose: Full, rich and spicy with a perfect balance between sweet and dry.
- On the palate: Notes of plums, dried fruit and soft oak.
Cocktail tip: Gran Añejo Mai Tai
Ingredients:
- 40 ml Plantation Gran Añejo Rum
- 15 ml Ferrand Dry Curaçao
- 22.5 ml fresh lime juice
- 10 ml orgeat syrup
- 7.5 ml sugar syrup
Preparation:
- Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a glass filled with crushed ice.
- Serve in an Old-Fashioned glass.
- Garnish with half a lime peel, a sprig of mint and a fruit stick with pineapple and Luxardo Maraschino cherry.
