Dentelle, also known as Mafaldine or Reginette, means “little queens” – a royal name for a royal pasta. The ribbon-shaped pasta with serrated edges is a tribute to Princess Mafalda of Savoy. At Belpasta, they have chosen to make this pasta shorter than traditional ribbons, with a length of 2.5 to 3.5 cm, making it more versatile and easier to handle.
The beautiful tricolour mix is created by combining three types of pasta: plain, a variant with 7% tomato, and one with 7% spinach. The result is a colourful and flavoursome pasta that will brighten up not only your dishes, but also your plate. The 19-hour drying process guarantees a firm texture that will not break during cooking or serving.
