Since 1820, Graham’s has been synonymous with exceptional Port wines, combining craftsmanship and tradition. For the first time in the house’s 200-year history, a Late Bottled Vintage has been sourced entirely from the legendary Quinta dos Malvedos – the beating heart of Graham’s vintage Ports. The milestone coincides with the 135th anniversary of the family vineyard since it was acquired in 1890.
Despite challenging weather conditions, the 2018 harvest produced a wine of unparalleled depth and balance. After six years of oak maturation at the historic Graham's Lodge, this LBV developed a beautiful bouquet of floral aromas, with seductive notes of eucalyptus, mint and violets – characteristic of Malvedos – combined with accents of cherry liqueur, dark forest fruits, mocha and dark chocolate.
Tasting notes:
- On the nose: Eucalyptus, mint, violets, cherry liqueur, dark fruit, mocha and dark chocolate.
- In the mouth: Full and concentrated, with a perfect balance between fruitiness and complexity.
- Finish: Long, powerful and silky smooth.
Grape blend: 45% Touriga Franca, 35% Touriga Nacional, 5% Sousão, 15% Alicante Bouschet
