Inspired by the Italian Mafaldine or Reginette, Dentelle is a characteristic pasta shape with wavy edges. This short variety (2.5 to 3.5 cm long) is handcrafted by extrusion with bronze dies, which gives it a rough texture that perfectly holds sauces.
For this unique blend, Belpasta combines two types of pasta: a natural variant and a version with 5% porcini powder. This gives the pasta a subtle, earthy touch that goes wonderfully with creamy or savoury sauces.
The pasta undergoes a careful drying process of approximately 19 hours, which allows it to retain its firmness during preparation and to achieve an optimal bite.
