Tomatin Cù Bòcan Whisky

Lightly peated single malt whiskey that has matured in Virgin Oak, Bourbon and Sherry casks. This Tomatin Cù Bòcan Whiskey was first released in October 2013. Nose: initially you smell coconut with a spiciness of parsley and coriander. The smoke notes only emerge after a minute or so and pass fleetingly into the nose. We also smell a mix of lime, grapefruit and citrus in combination with almond and anise seeds. Mouth: initially feather light, followed by a honeyed smoke and roasted almonds. A rich spiciness of cloves, cinnamon and star anise with coffee notes and chocolate. The finish is light with a hint of light, sweet smoke.
