Cotswolds Gin
The Cotswolds Gin is produced in the Cotswolds of the same name. 9 botanicals are used to give this powerful gin flavor. Juniper berries, coriander, angelica, among others, are used, which are infused in the alcohol for 12 hours. Then bay leaf, grapefruit, lime, black pepper and cardamom are added. This results in a strong citrus-spicy gin. It goes perfectly in many cocktails. For the perfect gin and tonic use a neutral one; citrus tinted tonic. As a garnish, add some juniper berries and some grapefruit zest.
More than 10x the average weight of botanicals goes into each series of the traditional copper pot still, producing a rich tasting London Dry. There is no chill filtering and only naturally filtered water is added - so when ice or tonic meets the gin, the essential oils from the nine botanicals form a beautiful pearly haze. Robust, fresh and perfectly balanced - this is a traditional gin with a memorable twist.
