Casado (Portuguese for marriage) gets its name from the extra finishing for 2 years in two Portuguese red wine barrels. This finish ensures that Kilchoman Casado has a rich layer of red fruit and mixed spices. This combines wonderfully with the maritime peat smoke and the unique citrus character of Kilchoman.
