What really makes this whiskey special is the influence of the Fino Sherry casks. The barrels have slowly given their rich character to the Kilchoman whisky, creating a complex interplay of flavors and aromas.

Kilchoman's second official Fino Sherry Matured release matured for a minimum of five years in 20 fino sherry butts that were previously used by Bodega Jose y Miguel Martin.

The maturation in ex-fino sherry casks has given the whiskey layers of minerality, oak and maple syrup that combine beautifully with the natural citrus sweetness and maritime peat smoke of Kilchoman.

Characteristics:
- On the nose: fresh citrus notes with peated malt and butterscotch sweetness.
- On the palate: honeycomb sweet, light peat smoke, almond flakes and candied fruit
- Aftertaste: persistent sweetness with subtle peat smoke and citrus.
