Produced by Oscar and Francisca on their beautiful farm at the foot of the majestic Poás Volcano, each bean is infused with over 80 years of Chacón family expertise. With 38 hectares of land spread over several plots, this coffee offers a unique combination of varieties and growing conditions that optimize taste and quality.
What really makes this coffee special is the process. After the challenges of an earthquake in 2008, the Chacón family opted for a daring approach: natural processing. Instead of relying on traditional methods, a new path emerged, resulting in an amazing yellow honey coffee. This involves the fermentation of some of the pulp on the beans, resulting in a lively, fruity flavor with a delicious syrup-like texture.
The Las Lajas Filter Roast has tasting notes of juicy melon, refreshing lime zest and a silky syrupy finish.
