Monkey 47 Gin

Monkey 47 is a gin from the German Black Forest. The 47 refers on the one hand to the 47 botanicals used as well as the 47° alcohol. The taste of this gin can almost be described as apothecary-like, hence the typical apothecary bottle. We mainly taste herbs, juniper berries and pepper in addition to a strong citrus flavor. As a tonic we recommend a neutral tonic such as the 1724 tonic or the Fentimans tonic. As a garnish you can use some lime, orange zest and pink peppercorns.
