This traditional Mauritian rum was first matured for 7 years in French Limousin oak casks, known for their rich aromatic influence. The rum was then given an additional finishing of 1 year in peated ex-single malt whisky casks from Distillerie de Rozelieures (France).

The result is a complex, characterful rum with pronounced smoky accents, balanced by fruity and woody notes.

- On the nose: Intense peat smoke dominates initially, after which subtle notes of peach, dried fruit and smoked wood unfold.
- On the palate: Powerful and round, with smoky layers interwoven with hints of stone fruits, oak and a touch of vanilla.
