The roots of the Tenuta del Pajaru estate are deeply rooted in the history and symbols of Puglia. A "Pajaru" is a rural dry stone building that was used as a shelter by farmers and shepherds. The shepherd, called "Picuraru" in the dialect, embodies the seasonal work that characterizes the slow work necessary to produce a good wine.
It is through the experience, tenacity and perseverance that the shepherds have in tackling their work we were inspired to create the Primitivo "Picuraru".

The wine consists of 100% Primitivo grapes. It goes perfectly with aged cheeses, cold cuts and meat dishes.
