The history of Corte Giovanni starts in the early 1900s, when great-grandfather Giovanni planted his first vineyard. Enrico Bedin, the current owner, and his brothers Luigi, Denis and Damiano marked a turning point by gradually transforming the family business from a traditional farm to a modern winery. Today the Bedin family cultivates over 40 hectares and exports to almost all European countries.
The Glera grapes for this Prosecco Frizzante DOC come from vineyards in the foothills of Asolano, between the slopes and the foot of the hills, at altitudes ranging from 100 to 150 meters above sea level. The vineyards face south and enjoy favorable ventilation and a mild climate. The soil has the typical characteristics of the soil of the Asolano area and has a good clay component that contributes to a structured Prosecco, characterized by a very fine and creamy bubble.
