Speyburn 18 years is a stylish single malt whiskey that was released as an ode to Distillery Manager Bobby Anderson. In 2018 he had been employed at this distillery for 18 years and this was something to celebrate. And what better way to do this than with an 18-year-old whisky?

This whiskey is composed of spirit that has matured in both American oak and ex-sherry barrels of European oak. Together this gives the Speyburn 18 a sweet aroma in which toffee, sugared almonds and tropical fruits come together. In the mouth, dark chocolate, toffee, oak and herbs balance each other in a tasty way. A hint of citrus and light influences of smoke give this a nice twist.
