Tasting notes:
- On the nose : t he nose opens with soft vanilla notes, accompanied by the fresh sweetness of ripe red apples and mandarin. The influence of the sherry cask is evident in the subtle presence of cloves and strawberry jam, which gives the nose depth and complexity.
- On the palate: a delicious balance of fruity sweetness and spicy warmth. Flavours of strawberry, stewed pear and mandarin are complemented by spicy white pepper and clove. The creamy texture of walnut and oak adds a pleasant depth, giving the whisky a rich and full mouthfeel.
