Sugo alla Napoletana - Rustichella d'Abruzzo
This mega tasty pasta sauce with anchovies, hence 'Alla napoletana', is made according to an authentic Neapolitan recipe. The sauce is chock full of tasty sun-ripened tomatoes and of course anchovies. This gives it a slightly salty taste.
This Napoletana pasta sauce goes perfectly with all types of pasta!
Heat this sauce in a pan (do not let it boil too hard) and add it to the al dente pasta of your choice. TIP: also use this sauce as a base for other (homemade) sauces. This product is purely natural, so without artificial additives.

Mediterranean casserole
Use the Sugo alla Napoletana as a base sauce in a casserole. Add vegetables such as eggplant, zucchini and pepper and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake until the top is golden brown. -

Spread the sauce on a pizza base, add mozzarella, capers and anchovies, and bake in the oven. A delicious and authentic Neapolitan pizza! -
Fish stew
Use the Sugo alla Napoletana as a base for a fish stew. Add cod, mussels and shrimp and simmer gently for a Mediterranean meal.
